Air Canada to Launch Flights Between Toronto and Dubai in 2015

DSC_4872Air Canada announced it will begin new non-stop service between Toronto and Dubai on November 3, 2015.  The carrier will operate the service three times a week, using Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

Flights are scheduled to depart Toronto at 8:55 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Dubai at 6:40 p.m. the next day.  From Dubai, flights will depart at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Toronto at 5:00 p.m.

Air Canada will operate all of the flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with the exception of Tuesday flights to Dubai, and Wednesday flights to Toronto, which will be operated using 787-8s.

The carrier’s 787-8s are equipped with 20 pod-like seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 210 seats in economy.  Seats in business class are fully lie-flat with a bed length of 80” and personal 18” touchscreen monitors, while seats in all classes of service offer power outlets and USB ports.

Tickets for the new service will be available for purchase beginning December 16.

Earlier this month, Air Canada announced it would launch new flights between Toronto and Delhi, India on November 1 of next year.  The service will also be operated using Dreamliner aircraft.
