Believe it or not, Hanukkah is here and Christmas is right around the corner. Once again, it’s time to catch up on important Frequent Business Traveler news and features from this past week. Here are five stories that may be of interest to you.

1.) A new FBT reader contest is giving two readers a chance to win $100 in LoungeBuddy credits. Simply like the post on Frequent Business Traveler’s Facebook page as well as the page itself, add a comment describing your favorite lounge amenity, and share the Facebook post on your Facebook timeline. FBT is also giving away $10 LoungeBuddy credits to all readers.

2.) The editors here at FBT present the Last Minute Holiday Gift Guide for 2014. The Monster PowerCard Turbo, the BlueLounge Sanctuary, and the Audi A3 TDI could all be great last minute holiday gifts for frequent business travelers.

3.) Jesse Sokolow offers packing tips and strategies for winter travel. Don’t forget to winterize your car, stay informed, and leave for your destination early if possible.

4.) Jeremy Dwyer-Lindgren reviews Condor Flugdienst’s China Airline’s Business Class on a flight from Frankfurt to Seattle. He finds that his second flight is far better than is first, with excellent food and very good service.

5.) Paul Riegler lets us know that an American Airlines flight from Seoul to Dallas had to divert to Tokyo after severe turbulence caused multiple injuries and chaos onboard.

It was a busy week for travel-related news, so here are a few more stories to read. You might be interested to learn that Uber faces a ban in Paris, Apple named the top games and apps of the year, and that LoungeBuddy updated its app to allow the purchase of airport lounge visits.
