United Announces New Transatlantic Routes for Summer Schedule
United Airlines announced new transatlantic additions to its summer network next year. The carrier said it will launch new service between Newark and Venice, Chicago and Dublin, and Washington, D.C. and Paris.
Beginning June 4, United will offer new daily between Newark and Venice, Italy. Flights will depart Newark Liberty International Airport at 6:45 p.m. and arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport at 9:05 a.m. the next day, with flights from Venice departing at 10:55 a.m. and arriving in Newark at 2:25 p.m. the same day. The service will operate through September 23, 2015.
Between June 4 and August 17, 2015, the airline will operate new daily service between Chicago O’Hare and Dublin Airport in Ireland. Flights will depart Chicago at 6:05 p.m. and arrive in Dublin at 7:35 a.m. the following day. Flights from Dublin to Chicago will depart at 9:50 a.m. and arrive at 12:15 p.m. the same day.
The carrier will also launch a second daily flight on its existing Paris-Washington, D.C. route. The extra flights will operate run between June 4 and August 17, 2015, and will depart Washington Dulles International Airport at 10:10 p.m. and arrive at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport at 12:20 p.m. the next day, with flights from Paris at Washington departing at 11:55 a.m. and arriving at 3:00 p.m. the same day.
