LoungeBuddy, a travel app that locates and recommends airline lounges at specific airports based on user-defined criteria, announced the release of the next generation of its app.

The new version features a redesigned user interface for trip management and support for multi-leg trips on multiple airlines. The new version is also fully integrated with Concur, a company that provides tools for travel and expense management to large corporations, allowing a user to sync his travel itineraries with his employer’s accounting and travel systems.

LoungeBuddy 2.0’s database has access rules for over 1,900 lounges in over 550 airports across the world.

A key new feature of the app is the ability to instantly purchase guaranteed airport lounge access from a mobile device. The new feature is available at 14 airports in the United Kingdom, and will be gradually rolled out to lounges in other airports in the world.
