Kempinski to Debut New Hotel on Pearl Island in Doha

Kempinski Hotels announced it will open a new property in Doha on December 1.  The Marsa Malaz Kempinski, the Pearl – Doha will be the company’s second hotel to open in Qatar, and its seventh in the Persian Gulf region.

The property will be situated on the Pearl-Qatar, an artificial island approximately 43 million square feet (four million square meters) in size.  When it opens, the hotel will have 281 guestrooms and suites, as well as outdoor pools and water sports facilities.

The property will also have a spa, tennis court, and yacht jetties, in addition to its own private beach.  The hotel will also have various meeting and event space, including an 11,538-square-foot (1,100-square-meter) ballroom.

Guests will also have access to multiple restaurants, cafes, and lounges.

The Marsa Malaz Kempinski, the Pearl – Doha is located ten minutes from West Bay, the central business district of Doha, and 30 minutes from the new Hamad International Airport.  The property will also be in close proximity to the Katara Cultural Village, Doha Golf Club, and Lagoona Mall.
