El Al to Launch Boston-Tel Aviv Route

El Al Israel Airlines announced it will begin new, non-stop service between Boston and Tel Aviv in June 2015.  The service will operate three times a week, using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

Flights will depart from Boston’s Logan International Airport at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv at 3:05 p.m. the next day.  Flights from Tel Aviv to Boston will depart at 12:30 a.m. on the same days, and arrive at 5:45 a.m.

El Al will operate the route using Boeing 767-300ER outfitted with 218 seats, including 22 of the carrier’s new lie-flat seats in business class. The aircraft also has Economy Class Plus, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and economy class.

The new service is subject to approval by the El Al Board of Directors, which is expected in the near future.

El Al currently offers up to 32 weekly non-stop flights between North America and Israel, including to and from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, and Toronto Pearson International Airport.
