Alaska Airlines to Launch Seasonal Flights to Mexico from Seattle and Portland

Alaska Airlines announced it will begin new seasonal service this month to various points in Mexico from Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.

Beginning November 4, the airline will launch flights from Portland to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  The service will run through April 26, 2015.

Flights are scheduled to operate four times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, through November 18, when the Saturday flights will cease operation.  Flights from Portland will depart at 10:15 a.m. and arrive in Puerto Vallarta at 4:40 p.m., with return flights departing at 5:40 p.m. and arriving at 8:35 p.m.

On November 6, Alaska will begin daily service between Seattle and Cancun, Mexico, scheduled to operate through April 27, 2015.  Flights will depart Seattle at 8:10 a.m. and arrive in Cancun at 3:55 p.m., while flights from Cancun to Seattle will depart at 4:55 p.m. and arrive at 9:40 p.m.

The carrier also plans to launch service from Portland to Los Cabos, Mexico, on November 20.  The service will operate through April 27 of next year, with flights departing Portland at 11:25 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Los Cabos at 4:20 p.m.  Return flights will depart Los Cabos at 5:15 p.m. on the same days, and will arrive in Portland at 8:35 p.m.
