DSC_0675Alaska Airlines announced that it will be making changes to its Mileage Plan loyalty program next year.

Beginning January 1, Mileage Plan members who book non-refundable tickets in M and B economy fare tickets will receive 25% mileage bonuses, while those who book non-refundable S fare tickets will receive bonuses of 50%.  Currently, none of these tickets offer bonuses.

Mileage Plan members who book a refundable Y fare economy ticket will receive a 50% mileage bonus, an increase from the current bonus of 25% associated with those fares.  The bonus for F fares as well as non-refundable P fare tickets in first class will also increase, from 50% to 75%.

In addition, MVP Gold 75K members will receive a mileage bonus of 125% when the changes go into effect, a rise from the 100% bonus that these members members currently receive.
