6.) Always Be Ready For a Trip

Instead of packing and unpacking things that you normally bring on a trip such as toiletries, chargers, and cables, keep a separate set of such items just for trips and keep them at the ready in your carry-on.

7.) Send Things Ahead

You might find it easier to send articles of clothing and other items to your hotel before you leave for your trip. This way, you can manage to complete the entire trip using only your carry-on. Before you return home, simply ship your items back home. This can be especially useful as a strategy for longer trips when you would send the package to a hotel midway, allowing for a swap of used and clean clothing.

8.) Bring a Book or Media Device

Many airlines offer in-flight entertainment systems for passengers, but some might like to read or listen to music instead. Don’t forget to bring a book or fully loaded iPod or iPhone just in case the options the plane’s systems have to offer don’t meet your desires.
