Flights to San Francisco depart at 7:50 a.m., 2:45 p.m., and 7:25 p.m., and arrive at 9:35 a.m., 4:30 p.m., and 9:10 p.m.  From San Francisco, flights depart at 7:20 a.m., 11:40 a.m., and 5:30 p.m., and arrive in Dallas at 12:40 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 10:50 p.m.

Flights to Los Angeles are scheduled to depart Dallas at 8:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m., and arrive at 9:10 a.m., 2:10 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.  Flights to Dallas depart at 7:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., and arrive at 12:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.

The airline’s three daily flights to Washington, D.C. depart Dallas at 7:00 a.m., 2:10 p.m., and 6:00 p.m., and arrive at 10:40 a.m., 5:50 p.m., and 9:40 p.m.  From Washington, flights depart at 7:30 a.m., 11:25 a.m., and 6:45 p.m., and arrive in Dallas at 9:50 a.m., 1:45 p.m., and 9:05 p.m.

Monday marks the end of Virgin America’s presence at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and the beginning of its service from Dallas Love Field.  The carrier first began flying into DFW in December 2010.

The airline’s new flights follow the repeal of the Wright Amendment, which was lifted on Monday.  Originally imposed in 1979, the amendment limited the number of destinations that Dallas Love Field could serve.

In conjunction with the new flights, Virgin America also announced the opening of its new first class VIP check-in lounge at Dallas Love Field on Monday.  The new lounge is available to first-class passengers as well as Elevate Gold members, and has modern furniture and a Virgin America concierge.

The carrier said it will add a fourth daily flight between Dallas and San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. next April.  In addition, the carrier also plans to begin new service between Dallas Love Field and New York’s LaGuardia on October 28.  The service will operate four times a day.
