Rosewood Beijing Opens in China

Screen Shot 2014-07-31 at 15.24.43Rosewood Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of the Rosewood Beijing.  The new property is located in the center of Beijing’s Central Business District of Chaoyang.

Each of the hotel’s 283 rooms has mood lighting and marble-tiled bathrooms.  Rooms are also provided with books on Chinese art, architecture, and customs.

The property has six dining establishments, including the House of Dynasties, which has private dining rooms designed to reflect Chinese dynasties; Country Kitchen, which serves Northern Chinese cuisine; Red Bowl, which features Chinese meats, seafood, and vegetables cooked at the table; and Mei, a bar venue that specializes in cocktails and tapas.  In addition, Bistro B is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while its adjoining bar, Bistro B Lounge Bar, offers pastries, cakes, coffee and tea.

The Rosewood Beijing also has five spa suites designed for overnight stays.  The property also hosts a glass-domed indoor pool, a gym, and yoga studio.

The hotel also provides 36,060 square feet (3,350 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a pillar less ballroom, and an outdoor garden.
