Ganesvoort Playa Imbert Hotel to Open in Dominican Republic

Screen Shot 2014-10-20 at 11.36.17Ganesvoort Hotel Group announced it will open a new property in the Dominican Republic in December.  The Ganesvoort Playa Imbert will have a beachfront location on the country’s north coast.

The hotel will have one- and two-bedroom lofts, three-bedroom apartments, and four-bedroom penthouses.  Each room will have floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in showers, and kitchens, while the three-bedroom apartments will have private plunge pools and terraces.  In addition, each penthouse will have its own rooftop Jacuzzi.

The hotel will have a three-tiered cascading infinity pool, as well as a fitness center, day spa, and meditation and yoga garden.  In addition, an adult-only pool is slated to open on the premises next spring.

The hotel’s restaurant. Baia Lounge, will feature Mediterranean cuisine and Asian-inspired items.  Guests will also be able to enjoy wines at the hotel’s La Cantina Wine + Cigar Cellar.

Ganesvoort is a boutique hotel company with properties currently in New York City and Turks and Caicos, including its flagship hotel, Ganesvoort Meatpacking NYC.
