First Hilton in Myanmar Debuts in Naypyidaw

Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of Hilton Nay Pyi Taw in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. The property is the first Hilton Hotel to be located in the country.

The hotel has 202 rooms, each containing flat screen TVs and offering satellite TV channels. Guests may opt to stay in a variety of rooms or suites including a one-bedroom suite, two-bedroom suite, or Presidential suite. Those who choose a suite are provided a complimentary continental breakfast, all-day light refreshments, and evening cocktails.

Five function spaces are offered for meetings and events, including a 4,930-square-foot (458-square-meter) ballroom that holds 410 people. Guests are welcome to use the business center as well. The property also provides a spa, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a tennis court.

The new hotel hosts three on-site restaurants and bar venues, including Elements and the Access Lounge. In-room dining is available throughout the day and guests may enjoy drinks at the poolside bar.
