Seaborne Airlines announced that it entered into an interline agreement with United Airlines.

The agreement connects the two carriers’ networks at Seaborne’s hub at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Customers can now purchase a single ticket when traveling on both of the airlines, and only have to check their baggage once, at their point of departure.

Seaborne Airlines was founded in 1992, and operates both land and seaplane service to various destinations throughout the Caribbean, including the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, the British Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.

United Airlines, together with United Express, operates over 5,200 flights a day to 374 airports across the world.  The carrier is a member of Star Alliance.
