New Luxury Collection Hotel Opens in Dalian, China
Starwood announced the opening of the Castle Hotel, Dalian, in China. The property is situated on Wanxia Mountain, overlooking Xinghai Bay and the Yellow Sea in the northeastern part of the country.
The property has 292 guestrooms, 29 of which are suites, as well as 67 residences. Rooms have 47” LCD TVs and glass-top desks, while bathrooms have standalone tubs, glass-enclosed showers, and dual rainforest showerheads.
The hotel has three dining venues, including Collections, an all-day restaurant with an à la carte menu and international buffet; Zhen Bao, a Chinese venue serving Cantonese cuisine and Dalian seafood; and the Royal Cellar, which features home-brewed German beer and northern European menu items. In addition, the Lobby Lounge serves afternoon tea and signature cocktails, while the Aristocrat Lounge offers spirits, wines, and cigars.
The property is also home to a fitness center and heated indoor pool. Additionally, the hotel’s spa offers saunas, massage services, and various entertainment rooms.
The property also houses 28,524 square feet (2,650 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 15,069-square-foot (1,400-square-meter) Grand Ballroom, as well as two junior ballrooms and an outdoor terrace.
