New Kempinski Hotel to Open in Myanmar

Kempinski announced it will open a new property in Nay Pyi Taw, the capital city of Myanmar, on November 1.  The Kempinski Hotel Nay Pyi Taw will be the first of the company’s properties to be located in Myanmar.

The hotel will have 141 guestrooms and suites, including a 10,764-square-foot (1,000-square-meter) Grand Royal Suite.  The property will also offer five dining venues, an outdoor pool, a tennis court, and a fitness center.  A spa is also slated to open in 2015.

The hotel will also have five meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, and a full-service business center.  Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access will be available throughout the entire property.

The Kempinski Hotel Nay Pyi Taw will be located in close proximity to Nay Pyi Taw International Airport and the Myanmar International Convention Center.
