Icelandair to Begin Seasonal Portland-Reykjavik Flights
Icelandair announced it will launch new seasonal non-stop service between Portland, Oregon and Reykjavik, Iceland on May 20, 2015. The service will run through October 21, 2015, and will operate twice a week using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
Flights will depart Portland International Airport at 3:40 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, and will arrive at Keflavik International Airport at 6:15 a.m. the next day. Flights from Keflavik to Portland International will depart at 5:15 p.m. and arrive at 6:15 p.m.
Icelandair’s 757-200s are equipped with 22 seats in Saga, the airline’s business class-cabin, and 161 seats in economy, including 41 economy comfort seats. Seats in business class are 20.5” wide, and have a pitch of 40”.
Icelandair currently offers flights to Iceland from the U.S. cities of Boston, New York, Seattle, Denver, Newark, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Orlando, Anchorage, and Washington, D.C.
