Hong Kong Airlines to Launch Hong Kong-Sapporo Route

DSC_0505Hong Kong Airlines announced it will begin new service between Hong Kong and Sapporo, Japan on December 19.  Flights will operate five times a week, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Flights from Hong Kong will depart at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and at noon on Fridays, arriving in Sapporo at 2:55 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.  From Sapporo, flights will depart at 3:55 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and at 6:30 p.m. on Fridays, and will arrive in Hong Kong at 9:05 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

Hong Kong Airlines’ A330-200s that will operate the service are outfitted with 24 seats in business class, and 259 seats in economy.  The business class-cabin has a 2-2-2 configuration, with seats able to recline up to 155°. 

The new route to Sapporo will be the airline’s third service from Hong Kong to Japan, after Okinawa and Kagoshima.
