Hainan Airlines Inaugurates Hangzhou-Paris Service with Stop in Xi’an

DSC_0499Hainan Airlines began to offer new service from Hangzhou to Xi’an, continuing on to Paris, France on Wednesday.  Flights operate twice a week, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Flights depart Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 8:50 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and arrive at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport at 11:10 p.m.  From Xi’an, flights depart at 1:00 a.m. the next day, and arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 6:55 a.m.

Flights from Paris depart on Thursdays and Sundays at 2:25 p.m., and arrive the next day in Xi’an at 6:45 a.m.  From Xi’an to Hangzhou, flights depart at 8:45 a.m. and arrive at 10:50 a.m.

Hainan’s A330-200 aircraft are equipped with 36 lie-flat seats in business class and 186 seats in economy.  Seats in business class are 21” wide, and have a pitch of 76”.

The new service is the airline’s fifth European route, after Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Brussels, and Berlin.
