Southwest Adds Additional Dallas Love Field Routes

Southwest Airlines announced it will begin new daily, non-stop service between Dallas Love Field and both San Francisco and Oakland, California on January 6, 2015.

On Sundays through Fridays, Dallas-San Francisco flights will depart Dallas Love Field at 8:40 a.m. and arrive at San Francisco International Airport at 10:35 a.m., while flights from San Francisco will depart at 2:25 p.m. and arrive back in Dallas at 7:45 p.m. On Saturdays, flights will depart Dallas at 12:05 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 2:00 p.m., while return flights from San Francisco will depart at 7:05 a.m. and arrive in Dallas at 12:25 p.m.

On Sundays through Fridays, flights from Dallas to Oakland will depart at 2:15 p.m. and arrive at Oakland International Airport at 4:10 p.m. Flights from Oakland will depart at 11:40 a.m. and arrive in Dallas at 4:55 p.m. On Saturdays, flights will depart Dallas at 3:00 p.m. and arrive in Oakland at 4:55 p.m., while flights from Oakland to Dallas will depart at 11:15 a.m. and arrive at 4:30 p.m.

The new flights are in addition to Southwest’s previously announced routes from Dallas Love Field, including service to Baltimore, Chicago Midway, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, set to begin on October 13, as well as service to Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, New York-LaGuardia, Phoenix, San Diego, Tampa, and John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California, which will begin on November 2.
