SkyWest announced operational results for July 2014.

The airline’s total system traffic for July was 2.934 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a slight year-over-year increase of 0.7% from 2.914 billion RPMs in July 2013.

Total capacity for the month decreased by 1.4%, down to 3.478 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 3.526 billion ASMs in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the airline’s passenger load factor in July increased by 1.8 percentage points to 84.4% from 82.6% last year.

SkyWest reports on a system-wide basis, and does not break down results by subsidiary.  The final numbers represent combined data for the parent company’s two subsidiaries, SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines.
