Breakfast3Shangri-La Hotels announced it will be rebranding all of its Traders Hotels properties under a new brand, Hotel Jen.  The first of the new hotels, the Hotel Jen Orchardgateway in Singapore, will open on September 15.

As part of the launch, Shangri-La created a virtual personal named Jen, who is a professional hotelier “who loves life, travel, and the adventure of discovering new places.”  Guests will be treated as “friends of Jen.”

Hotel Jen properties will have complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access and mobile charging stations throughout each hotel.

Restaurants will have menus with an emphasis on fresh, local products, and free coffee and snack boxes will be available after breakfast.

Shangri-La said it expects to open ten new Hotel Jen properties by March of next year.  Along with the Traders hotel in Singapore, Traders properties in Hong Kong, Brisbane, Penang, Johor Bahru, Manila, the Maldives, Beijing, and Shenyang will be rebranded as Hotel Jen properties.
