Hyatt Regency Suzhou Opens in Eastern China
Hyatt announced the opening of a new property in Suzhou, a city in eastern China just outside of Shanghai. The Hyatt Regency Suzhou is located in Jinghope Plaza, a new complex that also includes of a shopping mall, office buildings, and entertainment venues.
The hotel has 355 rooms and suites. Standard rooms have high-defintion TVs, free on-demand movies, and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, while suites have separate dining and living areas, coffee machines, and freestanding bathtubs.
The property also has five dining venues, including Hua Chi 88, a Chinese restaurant serving Suzhou and Huaiyang cuisine; the Fireplace, an international grill restaurant; and Tea House, a traditional Chinese teahouse offering light snacks, drinks, and cocktails, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. In addition, the hotel’s Market Café offers pan-, grill-, and wok-prepared Chinese ingredients, as well as a dessert menu, and the Atrium offers pastries and other small items.
The hotel also has over 15,000 square feet (1,393 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 6,240-square-foot (579-square-meters) ballroom and four multifunctional rooms. The Hyatt Regency Suzhou also houses a spa that has six private suites, Roman-style baths, and a steam room.
The property also has a Regency Club lounge, where guests can take advantage of complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening cocktails. In addition, a 24-hour fitness center and indoor pool are located on the premises.
