Hong Kong Airlines, Air Seychelles Sign Codeshare Agreement

DSC_0973Hong Kong Airlines announced that it signed a codeshare agreement with Air Seychelles.

Under the agreement, Hong Kong Airlines will be able to place its code on Air Seychelles flights between Hong Kong and both Abu Dhabi and the Seychelles.  In addition, Air Seychelles will be allowed to place its code on Hong Kong Airlines-operated flights between Hong Kong and Bangkok.

Hong Kong Airlines was founded in 2001 as CR Airways, and has a fleet of 23 Airbus aircraft.  It has its main hub at Hong Kong International Airport.

Air Seychelles is the national airline of the Seychelles, and was established in 1977 after the merger of Air Mahé and Inter-Island Airways. Etihad Airways has a 40% stake in the company.
