Delta Adds More Extensive Dining Options in Sky Clubs
Delta Air Lines announced that it introduced a variety of new foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in its Sky Club airport lounges. The changes are effective starting August 14.
The new menus offer a variety of items, including locally sourced bagels, English muffins, Greek yogurt, and cereal for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, the Sky Clubs will be serving a selection of soups including Italian wedding soup, chicken salad with pecan and cranberry, a variety of other salads, hummus, and an assortment of crudités. Dessert includes miniature cheesecakes, and the club will also have a mixture of fresh fruits on hand including apples, oranges, and bananas.
The changes and additions follow months of testing of different food options by Delta.
In addition, the airline said that it will begin holding liquor tastings at Sky Club Luxury Bars at select locations throughout the United States. In August, the carrier will have Ciroc brand vodka samples in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and Seattle, while Single Malt Scotch whiskies will be available for sampling in New York, Tampa, and West Palm Beach in September.
Delta Sky Club lounges are currently located in more than 30 airports throughout the United States.
