Alaska Airlines announced it will begin new non-stop, seasonal service between Las Vegas and Mammoth Lakes, California, on January 15, 2015.  The service will be operated by Horizon Air using Bombardier Q400 aircraft, and will run through April 6.

Flights will depart Las Vegas at 5:50 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, and arrive in Mammoth Lakes at 6:53 p.m., while flights from Mammoth Lakes to Las Vegas will depart at 4:05 p.m., also on Mondays and Thursdays, and arrive at 5:13 p.m.

The Q400 aircraft used to operate the service are outfitted with 78 seats in a one-class layout.  Each seat has a pitch of 31” and a width of 17”.

In addition to the new Las Vegas-Mammoth Lakes service, Alaska Airlines plans to begin new flights between Seattle and Detroit this September.
