Air China announced the addition of French gourmet meals to its in-flight dining menus on flights linking China and France.

The airline announced a partnership with Paris-based Sky Chefs Studio that has resulted in the new meals.

The menu includes steak with sliced duck, garlic-flavored prawns, foie gras with pine nuts, and Columbus chicken roll.  In addition, the carrier’s new snack options on the Paris-China routes include chocolate cake with Haagen-Dazs ice cream and bread with olive oil.

Air China has also upgraded its economy-class meals on these flights to incorporate locally sourced French ingredients such as steak and fish.

Air China is currently the largest Chinese operator of flights to Paris with a total of 24 flights a week to the French capital.
