WestJet Encore, a low cost carrier and subsidiary of WestJet, announced it will launch new non-stop service between Toronto and Fredericton, a city in Northeastern Canada in the province of New Brunswick, on April 15 of next year. The service will operate twice daily, using WestJet’s Bombardier Q400 aircraft, which are configured to hold 78 passengers in an all-coach, 3-3 layout

Flights are scheduled to depart Toronto at 8:00 a.m. and 2:50 p.m., and arrive in Fredericton at 11:09 a.m. and 5:59 p.m., respectively.  From Fredericton, flights will depart at 11:45 a.m. and 6:35 p.m., and arrive in Toronto at 1:16 p.m. and 8:06 p.m.

The new route will be the airline’s first service to Canada’s Maritime Provinces, which consist of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

WestJet Encore began operations in June 2013, and currently operates 90 daily flights to 19 destinations throughout Canada.  The airline has hubs in Calgary and Toronto.
