JetBlue Airways announced that it is now offering new services and options designed to streamline the check-in process to certain passengers depending on seating assignment.

As part of the new procedure, passengers receive their ready-to-print boarding pass via e-mail 24 hours before their scheduled flight, rather than having to check in and access their boarding passes through the airline’s website.

Passengers also have the option to download a Mobile Boarding Pass to their personal device using the JetBlue iOS or Android mobile applications.

Currently, only JetBlue customers who book Even More Space seats – special seats that offer extra legroom – on domestic flights are able to take advantage of the new check-in procedures. The airline plans to begin offering the new option to domestic passengers traveling in assigned core seats in 2015, and to international travelers and those without assigned seats later next year.
