Hilton announced the opening of a new hotel in Qingdao, a port city located in China’s eastern Shandong Province.  The property, called the Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach, is situated on the shores of the Golden Beach in the city’s Huangdao district.

The hotel has 402 guestrooms and 29 suites, each with private balconies offering views of the ocean or garden.  The suites range in size from 452 to 1,615 square feet (42 to 150 square meters).

The property also has several indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, spa, tennis courts, and an 18-hole golf facility.  Additionally, five dining venues, including a restaurant serving local Shandong and Cantonese cuisine, are also located on the premises.

The hotel also has various meeting and event spaces, including 23 separate function rooms, and a 22,604-square-foot (2,100-square-meter) grand ballroom.  Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet service is available throughout the entirety of the property.

To celebrate the opening, Hilton is offering members of its Hilton HHonors guest loyalty program an extra 1,000 bonus points per night for stays completed at the Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach through December 31 of this year.
