Etihad Begins Abu Dhabi-Hong Kong Service

Etihad Airways announced the launch of new service between Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong.  Flights operate four times a week, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

From Abu Dhabi, flights depart at 9:40 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Hong Kong at 9:40 a.m. the next day.  Flights from Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi depart at 7:20 p.m. and arrive at 11:50 p.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Etihad’s A330-200s that operate the flights are equipped with 22 seats in business class and 240 seats in economy class.  Seats in business class are fully lie-flat, with a bed length of 73” and a width of 20”.

Hong Kong is the carrier’s fourth destination in China, after Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai, as well as its seventh destination in Northeast Asia.
