Starwood announced the completion of a three-year refurbishment to a Luxury Collection hotel on Mykonos, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. The Santa Marina Resort and Villas, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, received upgrades to its guestrooms, public areas, and one of its restaurants.

Most of the hotel’s guestrooms and suites were redesigned with a new interior, featuring teak wood and linen fabrics, and were outfitted with new technology and amenities. The property’s common areas were also restyled, with natural, muted tones that reflect the surrounding coastal environment.

Various aesthetic refurbishments were also made to one of the resort’s restaurants, as well as its adjacent private beach. The Bayview Beach Restaurant and Bar, which serves Mediterranean-fusion cuisine, is located directly on the beach, and features a wood terrace that offers diners a view of the ocean.

The Santa Marina Resort and Villas, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, has 100 guestrooms and suites, each with a balcony overlooking the sea, and some with a private pool. Also located on the property are a number of exclusive villas, each with private butler service. The resort also house three pools, a spa, a fitness center, a children’s recreational facility, two restaurants, and a lobby bar.
