New Sheraton Resort Opens in Fiji

Starwood announced the opening of the Sheraton Resort and Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji, a new hotel on the island nation of Fiji.  Formerly an independent resort, the property underwent an $18.5 million renovation to become a Sheraton hotel.

The resort has 101 guestrooms and suites, each with a 40” flat panel TV, and 30 with their own private pool. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis courts, two retail outlets, and a spa with four treatment rooms.

The property also includes a PC workstation with complimentary Internet access in the lobby, a restaurant serving local cuisine and seafood, and various meeting and event spaces that can accommodate up to 140 guests.

The Sheraton Resort and Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji is situated on 35 acres of beachfront property in the southwest corner of Tokoriki Island, the northernmost island in Fiji’s Mamanuca island chain.

Starwood currently operates more than 400 Sheraton brand properties in 70 countries worldwide. The Sheraton Resort and Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji, is the fourth Sheraton brand establishment to open in Fiji, and the eighth to open in the Pacific region.
