Lufthansa announced it will begin new service between Munich and Miami on December 2.  The service will operate five times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Flights will depart Munich Airport at 11:45 a.m. and arrive at Miami International Airport at 5:15 p.m.  Flights from Miami to Munich will depart at 6:55 p.m. and arrive at 10:25 a.m. the next day.

Lufthansa’s A330-300s are equipped with 217 seats, with eight fully lie-flat seats in first class, 48 fully lie-flat seats in business class, and 161 seats in economy class.  Seats in first class are 21” wide and have a pitch of 85”, while business-class seats have a pitch of 64” and a width of 20”.

The new route will be the airline’s second to Miami, after its daily Frankfurt-Miami service.
