Delta to Launch Non-Stop Service Between Barbados and New York, Atlanta

Delta Air Lines announced it will begin new non-stop service between Barbados and both New York and Atlanta on December 4.  Service from both American cities will operate twice a week, using Boeing 737 aircraft.

Flights from New York will depart John F. Kennedy International Airport at 8:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays, and will arrive at Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown, Barbados at 1:47 p.m.  Flights from Barbados to New York will depart at 4:55 p.m. and arrive at 8:58 p.m.

From Atlanta, flights will depart Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 9:55 a.m., also on Thursdays and Saturdays, and will arrive in Bridgetown at 3:29 p.m.  Flights from Bridgetown will depart at 2:45 p.m. and arrive in Atlanta at 6:57 p.m.

Delta’s 737 aircraft that will be used to operate the flights are equipped with 160 seats, including 16 in first class, 18 in economy comfort, and 126 in economy.  Seats in first class have a pitch of 38” and a width of 21”.
