Service on the comparatively short flight was excellent and the offer of drink refills several times as well as additional snack items was much appreciated.

No announcement was made about the inoperative Wi-Fi service,  but it was a brief flight and presumably most passengers were able to survive the disconnect.

ARRIVAL

With beautiful blue skies and cloud formations to look at, the flight went by rather quickly.  As the cabin crew prepared for landing, Ella walked over to each passenger and thanked him for flying Delta, a nice touch.

The flight arrived one hour and 45 minutes late at the historic Marine Air Terminal at LaGuardia airport in New York City and I was soon en route home.

BOTTOM LINE

Delays are an inevitable part of flying and what was really a delay for most of the passengers on board was an early arrival for me as I was originally scheduled to arrive two and one-half hours later.  The cheerful and friendly Delta employees, most notably Michelle and Ella, made for a satisfying flight, and I hope that my fellow passengers were as happy as I was with experience.
