American Airlines Links Dallas/Fort Worth with Hong Kong and Shanghai
American Airlines announced the launch of new daily, non-stop service between Dallas/Fort Worth and both Hong Kong and Shanghai, China. Service to Hong Kong operates using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, while the Shanghai service uses 777-200ER planes.
Flights to Hong Kong depart Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 12:45 p.m. and arrive at Hong Kong International Airport at 6:05 p.m. the next day. From Hong Kong, flights depart at 1:30 p.m. and arrive in Dallas at 4:30 p.m.
Flights from Dallas to Shanghai depart at 10:55 a.m., and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 2:55 p.m. the following day. Flights from Shanghai to Dallas depart at 4:50 p.m. and arrive at 6:10 p.m.
Hong Kong is a new destination for American, and marks the first time that the airline has deployed its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to Asia. Meanwhile, the new Dallas/Fort Worth-Shanghai flights complement the carrier’s existing service to Shanghai, from both Los Angeles and Chicago.
