Alaska Airlines Begins New Portland-Kalispell Service

Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new daily seasonal service between Portland, Oregon, and Kalispell, Montana.  The service is operated by Horizon Air using Bombardier Q400 aircraft, and will run through August 23.

Flights depart Portland at 3:55 p.m. and arrive in Kalispell at 6:20 p.m.  Flights from Kalispell to Portland depart at 6:50 p.m. and arrive at 7:25 p.m.

The Q400 aircraft used to operate the service are outfitted with 78 seats in a one-class layout.  Each seat has a pitch of 31” and a width of 17”.

In addition to the Portland-Kalispell service, Alaska Airlines said it will begin new service from Seattle, Washington, to New Orleans, Louisiana, later this week, as well as service from Seattle to Tampa, Florida, later this month.  The carrier also plans to inaugurate Seattle-Detroit, Michigan, service this September.
