United Airlines announced it will commence new nonstop service between Denver and Panama City, Panama, on December 3 of this year. The new route is still pending government approval.

The service will operate year-round, with daily flights between the months of November and August, and five weekly flights during September and October.

United will operate the new service using Boeing 737-700 aircraft, configured with 12 seats in first class and 106 seats in economy, 40 of which are Economy Plus seats with extra legroom.

From Denver International Airport, United Airlines currently serves over 10 destinations throughout Latin America, Canada, and Asia.
