Starwood Unveils Extensive Renovations to Dubai Hotel
Starwood announced the reopening of the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers in the United Arab Emirates, following a $50 million refurbishment of the property.
Each of the hotel’s 268 guestrooms and suites were redesigned with a contemporary style. The property’s public spaces were also upgraded as part of the renovations, and Vivaldi, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, was also remodeled.
Along with Vivaldi, dining options at the hotel include Ashiana, an Indian restaurant, the Creekside Japanese Restaurant, Hatta, the hotel’s international buffet restaurant, and the Chelsea Arms, an English style pub. Additionally, tea, coffee, and pastries are served in the Lobby Cafe.
The property has a 6,738 square-foot (626-square-meter) ballroom capable of accommodating up to 500 guests, as well as 3,444 square feet (320 square meters) of additional meeting and event space. In addition, guests have access to 24-hour fitness facilities.
The Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers opened in 1978, and was the first Starwood hotel in the United Arab Emirates. The property is located close to Dubai International Airport, as well as the Gold and Spice Souks, Al Bastakiya merchant market, and the Dubai Museum.
