Chase and Singapore Airlines announced that the airline has become an Ultimate Reward point transfer partner. Users of select Chase rewards credit cards are now able to transfer points to their Singapore Airlines frequent flyer accounts.

Under the new partnership, holders of Chase’s Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, and Ink Bold credit cards can transfer their points to their KrisFlyer accounts for instant use. Points can be redeemed for booking flights, upgrades, and award tickets on Singapore Airlines and Silk Air, a regional airline owned by Singapore Airlines, as well as on any Star Alliance member airline.

The transferred points retain their original value, which means that one Ultimate Rewards point equates to one KrisFlyer mile. Cardholders may transfer as many points as they wish, but must do so in 1,000 point increments. Transferred points are deposited into cardholders’ KrisFlyer accounts within two business days.

In addition to the point transfer benefit, Chase cardholders may also use 20% fewer points when redeeming travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards.
