New Hyatt Place Hotel Opens in China

Hyatt announced the opening of a new Hyatt Place property in Shenzhen, a city in southern China. The new hotel, called the Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen, is located in the city’s Dongmen shopping district.

The property has 144 guestrooms, each with a swiveling 42” HD TV and sofa bed. Also located on the premises are a 24-hour fitness center, free PC workstations with remote printing, and over 1,185 square feet (110 square meters) of meeting and event space, while complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the entire property.

The Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen also has three dining venues, including a restaurant serving both local and Western cuisine, a coffee bar, and a 24-hour market serving made-to-order salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts.  In addition, guests can take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary daily breakfast.

The Hyatt Place Shenzhen Dongmen is the first Hyatt Place brand hotel to open in the Asia-Pacific region.

Hyatt currently operates Hyatt Place establishments in more than 190 locations throughout the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, India, Armenia, and the Netherlands.
