Marriott Unveils Extensive Renovations to Birmingham Hotel

Screen Shot 2014-05-02 at 14.45.00Marriott announced the completion of a $5 million renovation to the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa in Birmingham, Alabama.

All of the hotel’s guestrooms, VIP suites, and hallways now feature new carpeting, paint, and wall coverings. The guestrooms also have new drapes, bedding, and furniture, while the suites have new furniture and wall fixtures. In addition, the hotel’s grand ballroom received new carpeting and chairs.

Three of the hotel’s four restaurants were also refurbished during the renovations. JT’s, Brock’s, and The Clubhouse have new carpeting, paint, and furnishings, while JT’s also features 11 new flat-screen TVs and a new dance floor.

The restaurant also underwent structural changes that separated it from the lobby, as well as expanded its outdoor space.  In addition, JT’s  updated its menu to include Irish nachos, dumplings, and a selection of cigars and locally brewed beers.

The Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa has 259 guestrooms with private balconies, an indoor and outdoor pool, golf and tennis facilities, and a European spa. The hotel also features 21,000 square feet (1,951 square meters) of meeting and event space
