JetBlue Airways announced the launch of a new codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines. The collaboration allows Turkish Airlines to place its code on various JetBlue-operated flights into and out of New York and Boston.
Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines is now able to place its code on select flights to and from New Yorks John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston’s Logan International Airport from various destinations across the United States, including Detroit, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Fort Lauderdale, Salt Lake City, and Syracuse, among others.
In addition, Turkish Airlines plans to launch new non-stop service between Istanbul and Boston this week.
Turkish Airlines was founded in 1933, and is the national flag carrier of Turkey. The carrier is based in Istanbul, and currently offers service to 245 destinations around the world.
