JetBlue to Link Fort Lauderdale with Jacksonville

JetBlue Airways announced it will launch new non-stop service between Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville, Florida, on October 29.  The service will operate twice daily, using Embraer 190 aircraft.

Flights will depart Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 7:00 a.m. and 6:55 p.m., and arrive at Jacksonville International Airport at 8:14 a.m. and 8:09 p.m., respectively.  Flights from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale will depart at 8:00 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., and arrive at 9:14 a.m. and 7:59 p.m.

JetBlue’s Embraer 190 planes are configured with 16 seats in the carrier’s Even More Space premium economy section, and 84 seats in coach.  Seats in premium economy have a pitch of 39” and a width of 18.25”.

In addition to the Fort Lauderdale-Jacksonville route announced Wednesday, JetBlue also plans to begin new service from Fort Lauderdale to Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, and Cartagena, Colombia on October 29.
