JetBlue announced the addition of a unique livery to its fleet, “Binary Code”, which celebrates the airline’s growing number of aircraft equipped with Fly-Fi service. An Airbus A320, re-named “Connected to 01000010 01001100 01010101 01000101”, will be seen sporting the livery on various JetBlue routes.

JetBlue partnered with LiveTV and ViaSat last December to improve and expand its in-flight connectivity options. Close to one-third of JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft are now equipped with Fly-Fi service, with an average of 10 being added each month.

The program has been well received, according to the New York-based airline. “We recently saw a record 136 connected devices on one of our flights”, said Jamie Perry, director of product development at JetBlue.

“Connected to 01000010 01001100 01010101 01000101” has rejoined the carrier’s fleet, and is currently flying select JetBlue routes.
