Shortly after takeoff, flight attendants were in the cabin offering hot towels and taking breakfast orders.  The menu, delivered verbally, was a choice of an omelet or raisin bran.

The omelet, stuffed with cheddar cheese, was fairly good and piping hot.  It was accompanied by potatoes (also good) and sausage (not to my liking).  A bowl of fresh fruit completed the offering.  A warm croissant, which was not bad considering it was heated in a plane’s galley, followed.  Flight attendants offered tea, coffee, and a variety of juices and, overall, it was a fairly pleasant way to have brunch on a Saturday morning.

The service was good throughout the flight, the crew was attentive, and snacks were offered several times.

Internet service was somewhat faster than usual (0.5 Mbps downstream versus the usual 0.29) and more than sufficient for chatting with friends and catching up on some work.

The flight went by quickly and we were soon making our final approach to Denver International Airport, where I noticed the famous Jeppesen Terminal peaked roof, which is intended to mimic the snow-capped mountains in the distance as well as a period in history when Indian teepees were common in the region.

We arrived 15 minutes early at the gate and I used my LoungeBuddy app to locate a lounge for a meeting with a colleague.

Although just an everyday domestic trip, the flight was characterized by friendly service, a tasty meal, and an early arrival.  What more could one ask for?
