Air Canada to Launch New Toronto-Rio de Janeiro Service

Air Canada announced it will begin new non-stop service between Toronto and Rio de Janeiro on December 11.  The service will operate three times a week, using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

Flights will depart Toronto at 10:55 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Rio de Janeiro at 12:25 p.m. the next day.  Flights from Rio de Janeiro to Toronto will depart at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive at 5:45 p.m. the next day.

Air Canada’s Boeing 767-300ER cabins are configured with 24 suites with lie-flat seats in business class, and 187 seats in economy.  Seats in business class have a bed length of 75”, and a width of 20.4”.

Rio de Janeiro will become Air Canada’s second non-stop destination in Brazil, after Sao Paulo.
