Transaero Airlines announced that it has completed the installation of the interiors on four new Airbus A380 aircraft, which will be put into service in 2015. Each plane can accommodate a total of 652 passengers, and is configured with three cabins, first, business, and economy.

The first-class cabin, located on the lower deck in the front of the aircraft, has 12 suites arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration. Seats in the suites are enclosed with retractable blinds, and can be fully reclined into beds.

The business-class cabin has 24 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, and is on the upper deck in the front of the aircraft. Each seat will be enclosed in a cocoon.

The first- and business-class cabins also have bars, cloakrooms, and mood lighting that changes colors throughout the flight.

The planes have 616 economy-class seats, each with a pitch of 31” to 32”, and located on both the lower and upper decks of the aircraft. The seats are arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration on the upper deck and a 3-4-3 configuration on the lower deck.

The aircraft are equipped with high-speed Internet service and an in-flight entertainment system.

Transaero Airlines, which first commenced operations in 1991, is the second largest airline in Russia. The carrier currently operates a total of 98 aircraft on 200 domestic and international routes.
