SkyWest announced operational results for March 2014.

Total system traffic was 2.794 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, an increase of 2.1% from 2.736 billion in March 2013.

SkyWest also reported a load factor of 83.3%, an increase of 2.1 percentage points from last year’s 81.2%.

Meanwhile, SkyWest’s capacity decreased by 0.5% to 3.352 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 3.368 billion last year.

SkyWest reports traffic results on a system-wide basis, and does not break down results by subsidiary. The final numbers represent combined data from the parent company’s two subsidiaries, SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines.
